i love Rapunzel so much. And eugene i love them both so much they're my partners and are amazing <3.

I miss raps alot though- I mis them both so much- but raps especially. My sunshine, my sunflower, I can't begin to explain how weird it is to not have you by my side in this life. It feels like something is missing, I always wake up and hope to see a glimpse of your yellow hair (your hairs such a bright ass yellow my god my eyes /LH) before I end up rolling over and going riiight back to sleep and knocking into Eugene. But I don't. And it really sucks, because I always have such vivid memories of laying in your warmth(s) and neither of you are here. I don't know if you ever will be, my memories are foggy besides that, and I'm much to anxious to look myself.

it kind of sucks to see exclusively ship content between me and raps. i don't hate the ship by any means - i did have feelings for her, we did have a romantic connection at some point, and i think the art and fics people make are cute - but we could never have lasted as anything but friends. we were too different, had too much baggage between us. i don't think anybody makes content for me with the person i actually ended up in a long-term relationship with, and it makes me kinda sad, to be honest.

Varian is the only one that I ever miss from that life. Well, my dad sometimes too, I guess. I still haven't forgiven Rapz. Eugene is... fine, I guess, but we were never that close. I really wish Percy (and others) understood my situation.

Life with the De Rolos was not as good as some would have you believe. I was neurodivergent and had learning differences. My parents never really took the time to figure out what was going on with me, why I had such odd fears, and why I excelled at one subject but failed tremendously in most others. People thought I was just a spoiled brat or got the short straw of the lot. There were things occurring behind the curtain that nobody knew of. My mind was just different. I received the love and protection I craved from the Briarwoods. I began to reach my full potential after Dr. Ripley (somewhat begrudgingly) took me under her wing. For the first time in a while, I didn’t feel defective or foolish. I was just as bright as my other siblings, and I finally got the time and space to prove it. That’s why I didn’t want rescuing. I’m sorry to those I hurt, but in my timeline, there were so many details that were missed. -Cassandra
