And if you point it out, people are like "Noooo, that isn't transphobic! The joke is that they thought the idea of that person being a trans woman [assuming they don't just say "secretly a man" about a woman character] is hilarious and/or revolting!" like it's so normalized people can't even fucking see it when they are describing the dictionary definition of being bigoted towards transfems.

This is not WWII with radar as the hottest new technology around. Nearly all of the world is available for civilian viewing from fucking google earth and you think the military sending out extremely expensive bombs and missiles "doesn't know" where they're headed?
