Radost Bokel as "Momo" in "Momo" (1986):

While I would LOVE to see Studio Ghibli tackle this story as their next project, the best live-action adaption already exists! It's been over ten years, since I've seen this movie (and only partially at that), but just the casting of Momo alone was amazing. Radost Bokel IS Momo!
