//Oh most definitely! Katarina is a fiercely dedicated individual and, where Father Dearest is concerned, a people pleaser. If Marcus has a strict set of ideals, be it religious or otherwise, that he adheres to, Katarina will be quick to adopt those things passionately with the hopes of making him proud. She would follow him and his teachings without question (this doesn’t mean that she would follow him so blindly NOW, post disappearance in canon LoL verse, in fact it may be quiet the opposite in this case)
However, as time goes on without Marcus, those things remain. Katarina is only all the more committed to her ideals and morality and will only adhere to them all the more passionately if only because in her eyes, its part of her fathers legacy. She’s got good ol’ Dad on a pedestal, especially once he’s out of the picture, and will do all she can to keep the memory alive even if the practiced ideal in question is clearly in the wrong.
It would take one of a select few people to influence Katarina into deterring from her ways, and even then it would be a powerful struggle. She’s too used to her ways, too set in stone to really be comfortable with change. And thats assuming that she even cares to at all. Katarina does as Katarina wants and as it stands, the 32 year old assassin does not WANT to change any aspect of how she is, AU or no
