I just went with my partner to see Iron Lung tonight and holy fucking shit I adored it so much!!
I won't spoil anything in this post, and I'll mark this and any reblogs with a spoiler tag, but I was in love from the moment it began and I know I'm gonna be thinking about this for a while yet! I'm so happy that Mark got to make a film about something he really enjoyed, let alone one that made like four times the amount it cost to make it back
Thank you Mark, and thank you David Szymanski for this phenomenal game and movie!! I'd love to see more of this world, but if this is it I'm way more than happy to experience this in my lifetime
I just learnt that Sirius actually dismissed woman instead of perusing them, and that’s one of the reasons girls likes him. So writing his character any other way just completely changed.
Now I’m not sure if this is completely true but... though he did have photos of bikini models in his room so that’s still fun.

Look at him! He's just a little guy. A good puppy, my sweet cheese, my good time boy if you will. If anything were to ever convince me to get a switch 2 it's this adorable face!!
Also the graphics actually looked amazing??? I'll absolutely have to see more before I really decide how I feel but I'm cautiously optimistic right now

So I have so many thoughts about Deltarune, loving all the flowers, I'm extremely happy to see wins for both suselle and transfem ralsei, and I'm absolutely terrified for the remaining two chapters but something hit me just now. Chapter 6 has to be all about the Holiday family and involve a Dark World in the Holiday mansion right?
Like, Chapter 5 has set up that unless Toby is hiding something from us we're not gonna have any more Shadow Crystals, eggs, presumably secret bosses, and judging by the way the Weird Route ended it seems like that will either mostly or entirely skip straight to the final chapter. Before Chapter 5 came out I was talking to my partner about how Toby's comment about Chapter 6's development being very quick compared to previous chapters gave me the vibe that this would primarily be a lore based chapter, and to me everything is lining up nicely! I can picture pretty easily how things could go
Rudy is either at the very end of his life or has unfortunately passed by the time we start the chapter. Noelle's absolutely gonna be wracked with grief, having already lost her older sister and now her father is slipping away. Because of this, a poorly timed reveal that her "dream" about Cyber World was in fact real would absolutely set her off. Her family's half dead, her mom's behavior is complicated at best, her childhood friend has been acting extremely strange and now the girl she loves the most has effectively revealed, even if it was with the best intentions, that she lied to her about something mindblowing. So she runs home, if she's not already there, and remembering what Queen taught her she escapes to a "better" world where she doesn't have to think about what's going on outside
We enter what can only be described as an ice palace and piece by piece, we learn most if not everything we were missing prior. We'll learn more about the history between the Holiday and Dreemurr family. We'll learn exactly who December was and at least what happened that unfortunate day, maybe even learning exactly where she may be, whether or not she's lost in the code, dead, the Knight, or something else entirely. We'll learn more about the conspiracy between Kris, Carol, Asgore and possibly the Knight, maybe even the true nature of the SOUL coming to light. Perhaps due to its connections to Noelle, Kris and likely Dess we'll finally have an encounter with FRIEND, or whatever its real name is, and whether they're related or not we might finally learn who or what Ralsei is when not shrouded in darkness. I don't know how exactly this chapter we'll end but I feel it's guaranteed to end with one more code gained, a party of shattered people who don't know who to trust, and the apocalypse finally on the horizon like the prophecy foretold
I could be very wrong of course, but if we're getting a chapter that's farely easy to make and with much less extra content to account for I really believe this is gonna be the most lore heavy chapter yet, and it's gonna hurt every single one of us. It'll hurt every single one of them too. It's all gonna be very, very interesting to see unfold when this chapter is finished. I hope all of my rambling makes sense to people!
I've been kind of obsessed with plza for months now and my silly brain really wants to create and maybe write about an oc put in the protagonist seat but I cannot stay with an idea without my brain eventually wanting to explore other ideas out of curiosity, boredom, or fear of something being too silly or cringe or whatever
All of my ideas boil down to either "person with some kind of well known family, canon or not, who comes to Kalos because they love what they've heard/wanna go somewhere where they're not seen as their parents' child/insert reason here" or "person who has absolutely no attachment or fame to this city but ended up being dragged into it anyway"
The one sort of exception being probably the most fleshed out concept I have of a PerfectWorldShipping fankid who has returned to their home town for some mix of being homesick, facing their fear of being back home and compared to their ~~actually not~~ deceased father, and wanting to see how much home has changed only to be mistaken for a tourist and dragged into something that's much more than they bargained for, but I cannot completely decide on some aspects of their family outside of the gay disaster dads
I have some ideas for the grandparents on both sides and some interesting dynamics between them and AZ, but my brain has latched onto the idea of this oc and Ansha being connected and I can't decide exactly how. Could just be family friends, I could go with the "Sycamore & Diantha are related" headcanon and make them cousins, I could go the route of some variation on "prfr divorce possibly pre XY leads to a healthier but still somewhat dysfunctional relationship between Sycamore & Diantha" which could make them half siblings and lead to either a GentryShipping break up or some form of FrenchFlagShipping future which might not be fully romantic on L's side but that's a idea to ramble about another day. I just can't decide what I'd do here cuz I know people have a lot of complicated thoughts on either the sibling headcanon or the ship and if there's even a small chance I write about something I don't wanna do anything too "controversial"
Basically, I have a lot of Legends ZA oc ideas which mostly end up a complete rando or a kid from a famous family/some sort of fankid idea coming to Lumiose with the most angsty idea being a prfr fankid I've fleshed out the most but I can't decide how Diantha and Ansha might fit in to the whole thing, but as I always say we stay silly
It's not a fleshed out idea at all but I was on a pretty long bus ride and my brain in order considered the headcanons of Drasna being Sycamore's mom(credits to @kadavermehl for the idea!), Drasna's family being related to the Celestica people, and finally Sycamore and Cynthia being cousins to some degree
I don't know if that's a controversial set of takes but I'm thinking about how that could theoretically work partially cuz of an idea for a perfectworld fankid I've been thinking about and I thought I'd put it out there! I'll reblog this if/when I have any more ideas about it
