"pressed by younger looking characters" they literally drew panty shots of Amber in the official art books. marvelous created senran kagura. people are rightfully disgusted. Please don't be an apologist

bro that wasn’t in the actual game where she is not portrayed in a suggestive manner whatsoever. i am not defending marvelous for publishing those artworks (that again are not part of the actual gameplay) and there are many of them that disturb me. Marvelous definitely has serious issues with sexualizing female characters no one is denying that and it should change. But i still believe rune factory should continue to have younger looking characters for their younger audiences to enjoy the games too. it is unfair to try to take that away from them because the idea of dating that particular character makes older players uncomfortable. there is a range of characters to choose from! don’t tell me you’ve never played or knew someone who played harvest moon or runefa as a kid.

i am also not saying runefa is perfect. its fine to be upset at certain things like the artworks that were released. there are definitely things in the games that should be changed/taken out. For example:

Xiao pai’s ass falling on your face in her intro scene. That was disgusting and should not have been in there! And guess who complained about that on here? no one! All everyone ever complained about was kiel and kohaku for the sole crime of looking young. That is not cool. People are being selective about what is and what isn’t an issue. If kohaku and kiel are an issue then so are doug and xiao. there goes half the cast of the marriageables. this series has always had characters who range from young to old.

The point i am trying to make is that i don’t accept people completely shutting down certain characters existing for the sole fact they they look young, regardless of how they are portrayed in the actual games. I think it hurts other players who are young themselves. If rf5 ends up depicting a young looking character in a highly suggestive way like xiao pai was in the actual gameplay i will for SURE be 100% against that and i hope to god that doesn’t happen.

and where the fuck did i say senran kagura is a good game i fucking hate that series! fuck marvelous for producing it, it has literal children with their clothes coming off!
