Who falls here? A father protecting his children? A soldier on the front lines, making a worthwhile sacrifice? Those who live in Casterville know the dangers of the world they live in--yet despite everything, death is never an easy thing to overcome.
The main theme of the franchise. Set in a world where one race of superpowered beings hunts down the rest, Casterville focuses on those who live in it, trying to survive.
Before I forget - this is raw footage played on a somewhat untuned piano, because I don't have access to better instruments.
Featuring Brimwater - an old song I made for a fictional village in the world of Casterville.
I took a lot of inspiration from Pokemon when I made this song, hence why Brimwater's theme sounds a little Pokemon-esque with its repeating motifs. Brimwater itself is a peaceful village, lined with cobblestone roads and buildings, set near the edge of river. A beacon of tranquility in the middle of the conflict where the two races, Humans and Casters, find themselves at war.

So I have a Soundcloud now.
I write a book series called Casterville. It’s about stories of various people living in a post-apocalyptic world where an asteroid strikes the earth during a nuclear war and bestows superpowers upon half the population. It’s a story of many things--prejudice, discrimination, and survival, but also of family, hope, and love.
And I make music for that book series. Yaaaay.
There isn’t much on the SoundCloud right now, I’ve been looking through my old recordings and hearing old songs I made for the series years ago, full of mistakes made by less-experienced-past-me. I’m working on rerecording them as time goes on, and I’ll post them accordingly once they’re finished. But for now--enjoy the one song I have in there. The title is “A Field Full of Mist-Filled Daisies”; it’s a song that follows a girl who ran away from home. She explores the world with her dimension-crossing powers, trying to find her path and purpose in life--all while she desperately tries to escape the things trying to bring her back home. hoo-bark, y’all.
