Yeah, because as far as they’re (they being 9/10) concerned it didn’t work and Hurt still had to go and blow up gallifrey I think, to save the universe from the daleks

Alrighty. thanks for trying to explain as much as you could, haha.

Still sticking with the fact that they could have explained this much better and that the fact that people (besides me) are even confused or questioning the ending, to me, shows poor writing and execution of what they were trying to show.

SOMEONE JUST EXPLAINED IT TO ME and I think I get it! Okay so basically 9, 10 and Hurt think they failed. Like, when they come back to the museum at the end they don't know if their plan saved Gallifrey or not. So they continue on like they didn't, I guess? and the only reason 11 knows it worked is because Tom Baker comes in and tells him at the end

But the fact that we didn't see it makes me nervous they'll draw out some cryptic story arc. Like maybe Peter Capaldi comes from him now since they changed the circumstance of the regeneration. But Nine is the simpler explanation
