Hiyoko deliberately waits an extra day or two, wishing to appear casual and lofty, before dropping a birthday bag in front of Komaeda's dorm room. Inside of the disposable canvas bag are two pairs of tabi socks, a lollipop big as her head, and a standard three-leaf clover she found outside while walking with Big Sis Koizumi. Not wishing for the boy to see her, she quickly scurried away.

Komaeda was surprised to find a bag outside his dorm room. Did someone drop it accidently?? He picked it up gingerly and peered inside to see the presents inside. A birthday present? He smiled slightly, easily deducing who it was from by the contents inside: HIyoko Saionji. Did she really have to wait days after to give him this? It was so typical of her, but he found it amusing. I'll have to thank her later, he thought to himself as he turned back into his dorm room while still rummaging through the bag. Hopefully she doesn't take offence to my bringing this up.

It was afternoon at Hope's Peak, and Sena had nothing planned. Wanting to take advantage of the opportunity, she decided to explore the school. The sooner she knew the school, the sooner she could plan things and meet friends! With the thought in mind, Sena closed the door to her dorm with a smile. 

After making sure she had everything she needed, she started walking in what she hoped was the right direction. Her goal was to make it to the cafeteria without getting lost or confused. I think it's this way, Sena thought, biting her lip and scanning the hall way. Wait a minute, I don't remember that painting. She stopped immediately, gazing up at the picture that caught her attention. 

Once satisfied, She whirled around to keep going. WHAM. Sena let out a small 'oof' and she collided with the unknown person. Fortunately, the impact didn't knock her down, but once she regained her senses, she realized that the other person was on the ground. "Hey," She said, kneeling down, "Are you alright?" Her expression turned to a confused one as she gazed at the girl. She looked rather young to be going here.

The Cat and the Mouse (castigatingaristocrat)

Riiiiing! Mikan jumped out of her seat of her seventh period class, eager at the sound of the bell. It had been a long day for her. In first period, they had had to get into groups, something she despised doing. Sure enough, she wasn't chose for a group and was forced to work by herself. Being surrounded by giggling friends was almost unbearable for her. Then, later in the day, they were told to pick teams for basketball. Mikan was picked last yet again, the other team groaning when they realized that they would be stuck with her.

Oh well, She thought, packing up her things and forcing a smile onto her face, At least it's over with now. Now she had the rest of the day to do whatever she wanted- which was probably curling up in her dorm with a book, or heading to the library to study. Either way, at least she was away from people.

Heading down the hallway, Mikan's mind wandered. What book should she start today? Would she be able to finish it as quickly as the last one? And how would she reward herself if she did? Suddenly, the thoughts were whisked away as she slammed into another student. "Uwah! I'm so sorr-" She stopped mid-sentence, eyes widening. It was Hiyoko Saionji.
