I don't know if you guys know but there's going to be a Thousand Year Door speedrun at AGDQ on the 12th at 10:06 pm

I was well aware, though I hadn’t thought to blog about it on here, oops!!!

SO YEAH EVERYBODY AGDQ is doing a TTYD speedrun this year and I’m super hype because Palace skip (which lets them skip chapters 4, 5 and 6, I think) is real and possible to do in realtime, so we’ll be seeing some crazy glitches in this speedrun, and every bit of it explained by the GDQ crew.

What’s GDQ? It’s a marathon where they speedrun video games (or, break them in the name of speed, in most cases) for charity! It’s a lot of fun and goes 24/7 for the entirety of this week. Check out more on GDQ here! (And you can watch it here!)

The exact time TTYD will be on is bound to change, so keep an eye on the schedule, here! (this also auto-converts to your time zone, which is handy!)

What’s Palace Skip? Well, I’m no good at explaining it, so here’s the first video in which they explain how it works, and then here’s second video which explains how it’s possible in real time, which requires a slightly different method.

I know that, I was just tired of people mentioning what is already known. I understand that Frozen is not that great but I still like it. I kinda boiled over…anyway I don’t really connect with the classics but I do like Emperor’s New Groove .3.

That’s a shame because the classics do have some villains that are much more fearsome than Hans. Like Frollo, or when people become a little too possessive they turn a bit like Gaston and be violent (bonus: “_____ is mine!”) 

Or more importantly in my opinion, people like Scar.

Where people could just scheme behind your back. One way to have a good movie you have to have a good villain; and one that’s realistic at least. The classic villains are more memorable because of what their motives were. What was Hans’ motive for trying to take over the place? Absolutely nothing that is of worth. It may be mentioned but it’s not really understood, those are two very different things.

To tell you the truth, I'm kind of sad that Dark Pit doesn't get his own special reveal trailer, he just got thrown in Palutena's (and her promo pic) and it was more of a "will he, won't he" situation. I also have a new found love for him, he actually replaced Pit as my main.

I can see that. It would’ve been cool to have a trailer for him, but at the same time, since he’s a clone I could see why they might think it was less necessary. And by making him part of Palutena’s, it generated mystery and hype. And was more of a surprise when he was unlocked. I can definitely see what you mean though.

I have to say the list of composers looks good. I have played some of the games that they did music for and I'm looking forward to what they are going to do with some of the songs in the game.

I’m looking forward to the soundtrack too! Here’s hoping Yoko Shimomura can do more than three songs this time!
