I am notorious for despising despising strategy games. I didn't actually hate this game! Usually when I play a strategy game from nitrome, I go through phases of boredom in the early levels, detestment in the later levels upon being extremely challenged, anger, and laughs of pleasure as I blow the competetion away. That's how I felt when I played Mutiny, as I hated some levels but had fun after I had the advantage. This game was no different. I was very bored in the first few levels because there was no challenges whatsoever. I didn't even really think it as a strategy game because I didn't have to buy anything until level 14. And even from the levels past that, I still didn't need to buy anything on some levels. It wasn't really strategy until the last few levels. But all the way up until the mid teens, the levels were all incredibly boring. Too easy, probably. I also got bored because the characters move a little too slow. I could buy a horse but that's only necessary on level 21. Also you don't make enough money to buy multiples of everything. You only make enough to get by. This makes sense since I really didn't need much until the end. Anyway, the anger was the next step. I was mad at a few of the levels. I hated level 25 because I kept running out of knights. It wasn't because I couldn't beat the CEO. That was easy enough especially with a well aiming bow and arrow which could get double the damage of jumping at him. I usually ran out of knights trying to get the side enemies that moved, like a knight walking along the top of a castle on the far left and the bat on the far right. It was annoying. But now that I've beaten the game, I have the final step of my emotions. I feel great that I beat it and I realised that I actually enjoyed the game even though I was annoyed and mad while playing. This game was really fun and cute despite the fact I was bored most of the time. It's really easy to play especially if it's your first time playing strategy games. It's very basic and cool. This game was really cute. I liked the little knights. I especially liked the fact that they were real knights. For example, there was a Sir Lancelot. I laughed at Sir Elton and Sir Paul because I thought of Elton John and Paul McCartney who are knighted. I enjoyed the fact they were all named after really knights. That's cute and a nice touch to the game. I liked the whole concept, actually. I loved the idea that it wasn't just a dinky medieval game. There was the whole concept that it was a corporation and that the whole company's future was dependent on beating the enemies, which is totally just like a regular company in today's day and age. For example, computer companies have to woo over customers so that they will buy their products and if your computer sucks, no one's going to buy them and you'll lose profit and go out of business and you'll be mad at the competetion for having a nicer computer than you. It's like that with all companies. I liked that whole concept. I loved the little pep talks before the levels. For example, there was a level where the CEO knight of Castle Corp said that an insentive for winning this battle was that they were going to be given water coolers. That made me laugh. Those pep talks were super cute. I enjoyed that little aspect. The whole game was just filled with all these little things that made me enjoy it. The knights were designed in a cute way and were tiny. There were so many unique types of enemies. The weapons were all so unique as well. I liked the designs of the weapons most of all and enjoyed the advertisements that came along with the weapons. My favorite weapon was the Free Range Chicken. The ad compared it to the Battery Chicken which made me laugh. I loved those little things. The Barabarian Beef-Up Shake also made me laugh really hard. What a great idea for these weapons. It made the game be so much more fun and not just a stupid average stategy game. This game was just so cute. It was fun and unique. It's a good game for the first timy strategy game. It's fun. I give it a 7.
