You know what would be hilarious?
If Beckett got pregnant somewhere between 8x08 and 08x16 or if she already is.
Can you imagine it?
The boys think Castle’s cheating on her, then she gets pregnant.
I can totally see their reactions to both these situations.
First the cheating, being supportive of Beckett. And as we’ve seen in the sneak, threatening to do bodily harm to Castle.
But then the pregnancy.
Oops.
So who’s the father?
I can totally imagine the boys’ dumbstruck faces if they find out about it and don’t but 2 and 2 together immediately.
They’ll be all, but what about our favorite couple, this is a mess, Castle’s cheating. Beckett’s pregnant with some other dude’s kid. And Lanie will be all “You dumb-asses.” I could definitely see it.
Plus she might to have to hide it at first because with their whole Loksat investigation she’s going to have to protect Castle and this baby. And it’s a lot easier to tie Castle to her if there’s a sudden pregnancy.
It’s a golden opportunity to have fun with everything.
Can you imagine Beckett running to the bathroom to throw up and the boys looking after her frowning and then to Castle. And he’ll either shrug or say something along the lines of “She said she had some bad clams earlier. I’m gonna go check on her.”
And then when they find out that Caskett has been Caskett this whole time and it’s actually Castle’s baby. This could all be a lot of fun.
