Send “involuntary mud bath” for my muse to push yours into a mud puddle.
It had been raining all day, not uncommon for a place like Skyrim but that didn’t mean Tullius was used to it by any means or that the dark dreary clouds and the small amounts of sun wasn’t beginning to wear on him. So he had to admit he was relieved when Menelri agreed to come with him while he ran errands, she was delightful to have around and her company would certainly brighten the rainy day. However, if Tullius had the gift of foresight he certainly wouldn’t have brought her down to the stables where it seemed to lack any competent handler and a handful of new antsy horses.
He was speaking to one of the grooms when a commotion began in the back of the barn. Tullius didn’t pay much attention to it until the shouts grew louder and suddenly a large chestnut stallion came barreling out of the stable and straight towards them. Had the ground not been soft and unstable with the constant rain Tullius was certain that when he grabbed and pushed Menelri out of way, they wouldn’t have lost their footing and she wouldn’t have landed back in a ice cold mud puddle with him awkwardly on top of her.
Tullius cursed under his breath when he realized that even though it was just really his hands and knees soaked and muddy, the poor womer that had been kind enough to join him was no doubt almost entirely soaked to the bone. While everyone else scrambled to chase after and rein in the escaped horse he quickly lifted himself up and offered her his hand. “My deepest apologies my dear, please let me help you get you back to Castle Dour.”
