It’s weird having a name that’s common in your country but not in others.

I have a common name in the uk but it’s really rare outside of it.

At school we have lots of foreign supply teachers and none of them know how pronounce my name right.

Once we had one struggling so much a boy in my class told her how to say it before i even realised she was trying to say my name.

In the uk it’s so common there’s spelling variations in the double digits.
