"is it wrong that instead of shelving books i just keep finding books to buy at this job?" clare asked with a slight hum, scanning books as she put them on the shelving unit at the book nook. it was likely one of the best jobs she'd had over the years--even if she wanted to buy many books that she saw around the place and that meant a lot of her paycheck could wind up back in the place. but she loved this more than her own wannabe journalism career for some time.

"i don't understand a lot of this place," delaney explained with a light sigh. she wished she understood more. but even before everything, she was the kind of person who was just doing her best to make everything right. now she was just working to do whatever she could do in the best kind of way. "but at least i found decent coffee, so i'm not going too crazy." delaney said with a slight shrug of her shoulders. that was the one good thing she really had needed to find desperately when she had wound up in this place without any knowledge of how she'd gotten there. besides, she'd been working on everything else since then.

sidney put her script down and looked over at stu, "okay, i seriously think that they picked the wrong person for the roll. i mean...i always wanted the lead in one of these productions but i feel like this is too much too soon." she glanced down at the large script that sat down in front of her before looking back up at her friend.

belly had stopped by the bakery and grabbed some sweets. she always swore that she thought better on a full stomach, but sometimes she just thought she wanted something to snack on too. when she left she shop she spotted conrad and called over to him with a small wave, "hey, so i might have your favorite baked good in this bag here." belly said with a slight nod of her head as she looked at him. she still felt slightly awkward after everything they had been through. but she was attempting to work through it all. to be better and to do good.
