If you've been following me over the last month and a bit, you'll likely have come across my Higurashi live blogging as part of my first time playing through the game - I've collated and written my thoughts on the first four chapters for the game here, as well as what I'm picking up from the game along with what I am hoping to see going into the Answers Arc!

I'm sure you're probably aware of it already but princess crown (saturn ver.) got an english fan-translation patch! Script is all but it's an early version and may have a few bugs

You know, now that you mention it...I remember seeing it some time ago? I thought it was incomplete so I never bothered to download it. So I did and:

I AM SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW. I'D RATHER PLAY AN INCOMPLETE VERSION THAN WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING. Guess I'll be doing this today. What pisses me off is that I knew about it and didn't jump at it ages ago.

small update on the princess crown trnslation stuff - the original folks that made that translation (which the latest 'fan-translation' foisted off with and older version) have actually uploaded an update on the script! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1gxYjpc9Qc

FINALLY! It’s great to see their progress after over a decade of following this project. I know they want to release a high-quality translation but come on, it’s been long enough! 😭 I hope what that guy did spurs these guys on to actually finish the project or keep us updated regularly! Thank you for sharing this with me!
