The first wave of acts set to play Castlepalooza 2017 has been announced today including Girl Band, Wild Beasts, I Have A Tribe & more.

The list of artists confirmed to be performing at Castlepalooza 2017 Boutique music & arts festival this August are: Girl Band, Wild Beasts, Waze & Odyssey, David Kitt, Shit Robot, I Have A Tribe, Heroes In Hiding, King Bones and Lumo Club.

There will also be stand-up sets from comedians: Deirdre O Kane, PJ Gallagher, Kevin Mc Gahern and Colm O Reagan. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks, see the poster below for more details on this summer’s Castlepalooza 2017 line-up.

Caribou, Villagers, Cat Power, Jurassic 5, Daphni, Polica, Field Music, and many more are Offaly bound this weekend as Castlepalooza 2016 takes place. The stage times are also out and you can check them out below.

Aside from the music, which has been well and truly noted at this stage. Two more new additions to this year’s Castlepalooza include Banter hosted by Jim Caroll and Culture Vultures hosted by Tony Clayton Lea.

Photographer Ruth Medjber & pop culture journalist Louise Bruton bring their Women of Notes / Mná na Notaí exhibition to Castlepalooza this year, celebrating some of Ireland’s most prominent and successful female musicians.
