The morning we left Oberammergau, we visited nearby Neuschwanstein castle. In my opinion, not as impressive as Kind Ludwig's Linderhof palace, but it's definitely still beautiful. My favorite thing about this castle is that the moment you step inside, it smells like oil paintings. And inside the music hall, there is a massive, beautiful oil painting of a forest that is probably the most breathtaking painting I've seen with my own eyes. Schloss Neuschwanstein. King Ludwig II planned this fairytale castle and the building started in 1869 as a romantic medieval castle. This was the model for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle.
