SEASON 4 SPOILER WARNING
My thoughts:
I finished season 3 a few days ago and although I was dissapointed by it, I had to see how the story would finish. After season 4 I don't think it'll get another season as it really wrapped most of the story, especially those of the main characters.
I love Sypha and Trevor's relationship and them having a kid was cute and the icing on the cake as they both were wondering what to do with their lives and Trevor felt lonely, espacially since his family died. I wish there were a kiss scene or two or more romantic moments, but that's ok. Would've been nice to have also seen Sypha tell Trevor she loves him back.
Idk why, but none of Alucard's relationships feel natural to me. I'm happy he seems to have finally found someone that's right for him, but it just feels strange?? Like she sees the good part in him, the human side whereas he thinks he's a monster whose gone mad. But, I feel like we only know she's compassionate and cares about her people and nothing more. She feels like a flat character and there wasn't really a moment where I connected with her or saw enough genuine moments between her and Alucard. Sumi and Taka felt a bit natural in the sense Alucard was very lonely last season and they were hunting together, but that's about it?
Remarkably, I found Elenore and Hector's story to be really beautiful and tragic. It kinda felt right for her to go. She felt like she had no place in Carmilla's future and she didn't want to be locked in a cage with Hector. So she respectably dies while experiencing the sun just as she discussed with Hector. Both Hector and Elenore discuss different aspects about being human or vampire and their views of what is life in the span of time. They both know they're different, yet they both listen to each other. And that's what made their strange relationship feel true, but tragic.
They didn't really feature showing Issac and his kingdom or him living, I guess due to screen time? Would've really liked to see it though since they developed two separate plots with Alucard and the trio and Carmilla.
Also? I can't belive Dracula and his Wife are alive. Instead of letting Alucard getting closure they should talk to him if they intend to see him in the future anyways?? Like you bring back Trevor for a happy ending but not Alucard and his parents?? Come on the boy needs a family and love like?? He has his friends and village now which is great so ye. What are your guy's thoughts? Forgive any grammar mistakes
