This is how it looks after patina. Hard to make out well in photos but scroll through and you'll see the process. The final patina is a rich brown color that we sealed by applying wax to the bronze after heating the entire piece. And here it is as one piece. Hard to make out in photos but there's a bronze flatbar edge wrapping all the way around the top... the stone top fits nicely into that detail for an inset look. The top and bottom are thru bolted as well as welded together. My engineer said it would take close to 900 lbs. to make the table tip....I jumped on the end of the cantilever and it didn't budge at all. Next steps involved welding the two halves of the top together on both sides and then the beginning of sanding. It made more sense to finish the top and bottom separately before welding them together since it was easier to get the surfaces dialed in that way. Just remember the bottom is actually the smaller form.
