Trigger Idea #12: "It's fine."
Almost halfway through this countdown! This time, we'll be looking at another trigger phrase that is simple but quite effective.
This is a call and response trigger, in that when it's said, I repeat it back verbally. When I hear the words "it's fine," I immediately repeat it back, my mind slowing down as the agreement settles like fresh snow. Regardless of whether I was protesting, joking or resisting, that feeling of gentle assuredness weaves its way through my thoughts and softly pacifies them.
One of my favorite traits of this one is that how it's said really makes a difference here. I've had it where the tist says it casually in passing and I find myself repeating it just as casually, that agreement naturally syncing itself with my thoughts. Alternatively, if I'm barely hanging on to wakefulness, and I hear "it's fine," it could be enough to send me softly spiraling down as those words spill from my lips.
A more casual one today, I hope you all enjoyed and if you have variations on it, I can't wait to see them. See you tomorrow 🌀
