There wasn’t much in this place, aside from his mother’s store and the restaurant he ran (every day except Saturdays, that’s when he’d sell flowers). Ah, well, the poor kid probably needed a hand getting back up. Hayato found himself holding out a hand, crouching a little ways down -- there’s nothing here for people anymore, so he can’t imagine why anyone would be here, much less running through.[✬]
“You’re probably hungry from running like that, right? I own a restaurant -- and I have a first aid kit back there, if you need it.”
