They’re practically invisible. Like very hard to see on the tree.
Not on palm trees. I have no idea what they look like on other trees b/c the only images that come up when I search are walking sticks on the palms.
It also doesn’t help that during their evening spawn time there’s a bunch of other bugs that spawn that I can’t DEspawn (w/o catching them) or keep from spawning (specifically tiger, yellow and common butterflies, they apparently do not need flowers to spawn).
So even when I go to a mystery island and clear everything but palm trees (which is what I did for beetle catching last month), they STILL won’t spawn cause only butterflies and shit want to spawn.
But all the guides I find say they’re super common (and given their low sell price, they’re clearly not “rare”), meanwhile I jut, can’t find them. Ever.

regarding fogg taking q off his meds: i always thought it was intentional? like it says pretty plain in the show that "magic comes from pain" so taking q off his meds was an effort to put him in MORE pain and therefore make him stronger magically since fogg already knew q and the gang failed 39 times already. that's just what i always read from it.
no, yeah that makes sense. i guess it’s more the fact that he hits Q with the whole ‘you haven’t been depressed, you’ve been alone. and you are not crazy, you’re angry.’ thing that really gets me. like loneliness and depression are not interchangeable; they are very different. and to say they are equal is to downplay depression. same with crazy/angry. the whole magic comes from pain + force people to feel emotional pain to help with their magic = take Q off his meds is irresponsible, and stupid writing. and, i mean, i’m not a professional by any stretch (so, grain of salt and all). these are just my opinions.
