Storytellers are another Clans of The Emerald Isle exclusive role! They're unique to Cloverclan specifically, as they are known for their singing and stories. Such a lively clan has made a role specifically for cats meant to entertain the clan with witty tales and songs.
In Cloverclan, there can be up to 2 Storytellers at any given time. These cats must have been a warrior for at least 10 moons, as the experience of a warrior is what can give them inspiration for any stories they may tell.
While this role has it's own duties, they are able to fulfill any duty that a typical warrior may do as well. Hunting, patrolling, or fighting are all skills a Storyteller must know. They're most known to attend border patrols, singing tunes to boost the moral of the rest of the patrol.
Storytellers collect flowers frequently, leaving a pile outside of their den for other cats to pick from as adornments. These flowers are typically offered to Monarchs and Elders, but any cat may come up and take what they see fit (as long as they are not clovers. Those are reserved to new apprentices and the leader).
