Hello! I LOVED your Cat Villain snippet!! Please write more! Either a continuation and/or maybe another snippet where the Villain teases a Cat Hero who tries to be serious and angry at them but gets too distracted lol
Hero knew they should never have responded to this call. Superhero was much better equipped for it, and even though their vision was much better in the darkness, they hadn’t compensated the impact the news would have on their mission.
“Where’s Superhero?” Villain demanded, their brow arched at the hero circling them. They responded with a wry grin, shooting them dark glares.
“Busy elsewhere,” they responded cooly, fingers flexing and relaxing every so often by their side. “Doing things actually worth their time.”
Villain sucked in a sharp breath through their teeth, their face wrinkling, feigning hurt. “Shame. I was rather looking forward to seeing them fall today.”
Hero found that amusing, despite not showing it. Villain had always been too big for their own boots, and even though Superhero had never managed to catch them, they certainly outmatched them in battle. Hero had no doubt, under Superhero’s teachings, they could do the same.
The low rumble of a news helicopter thundered through the air, and Hero’s ears twitched in annoyance.
“I think you need to be humbled, Villain. Superhero will not...” There was a movement of light, and Hero’s eyes darted towards the helicopter hovering high in the air. “...not just—”
Hero blinked, and forced themself to look away. Shit, what had they been saying again? Their ears twitched again and they found their eyes involuntarily snapping towards another flash of light when it soared across the sky.
Villain watched, quietly, before their lip curled into a grin, and they followed Hero’s eyeline towards the helicopter.
“Oldest trick in the book,” they murmured, approaching the hero as they tried to get the helicopter out of their sight. “So it’s true cats really can’t help but chase light. I’ve never had one myself, so I wouldn’t know...”
Hero’s face tightened in frustration. “Shut up.”
“Now, you were saying...” Villain continued, and the hero forced themself not to glance towards the helicopter, and it’s moving lights flashing through the dark.
“I was saying, you need to be humbled, thinking you can prance around and—”
“Oh, you’ve done it again,” Villain interrupted, snapping their fingers in their air. It made Hero focus their attention on them again, ears turning outwards in embarrassment. “This is more fun than I had anticipated...”
Hero bared their teeth and hissed out: “Stop messing around and fight me.”
Villain continued their casual approach, peering at the news helicopter through their eyelashes. No doubt filming the entire ordeal, ready to broadcast onto live television. They had never much liked the paparazzi, and Hero wasn’t in the right environment to stand a chance against them.
Besides, they much prefered teasing them like this over anything.
“I’d rather settle this with Superhero. But don’t worry,” they drawled, shooting them a sleazy grin. “I’ll make sure to bring a nice laser pointer for you the next time we meet.”
Villain x Hero Writing Prompt- A hero/villain has fun with the heros/villains cat themed powers. (Ex. Spraying them with water, petting them, dangling string to distract them etc) Have fun with this prompt!
So sorry for such a long delay! Hope you enjoy! This is either one of the best or worst things I've ever written, theres no in between xD
"Oh hey, look what the cat dragged in," the villain mused from their armchair. They sat as if it were a throne, legs flung over one arm lazily as they tilted their head to examine the hero in front of them.
"Oh ha-freaking-ha," the hero groaned, cat ears twitching, "very funny,"
A soft smirk of cool amusement curled on the villain's lips, "Something I can do for you, kitten?"
"I know you have it," the hero stated, crossing their arms while their tail flicked behind them. They did their best to ignore the flustering nickname.
"Oh? Have what?" They asked innocently.
"The cinder diamond necklace. I know you stole it,"
"What? This old thing?" They teased, lifting their hand off their lap. Sure enough, there was the necklace, swinging back and forth and back and forth and-
The hero shook their head, snapping themselves out of it. Damn cat instincts. They could see the growing grin on the villain's face.
"Yes, that! Give it back,"
The villain shifted, swinging their legs down before standing up, dangling the necklace out in front of them on a single finger, "come get it then, kitten,"
*bastard.*
Despite knowing what was going to happen if they got too close, the hero walked forward anyway. Right as they were about to grab it, the necklace was pulled away.
"Hey-!"
"I'll tell you what," the villain hummed. In their peripherals, the hero could see the villain's hand raising, but they couldn't will themselves to move.
Sure enough, not a second later, the hero felt a hand land in their hair, scratching behind one of their cat ears gently. Instantly it felt like all their limbs melted, legs turning to jelly.
"W-what?" The hero stuttered, having not even heard the second half of the sentence.
The amusement on the villains face only grew, "I said, that the necklace is all yours if I get you for a movie tonight~"
Wait, what?
They tried to come up with a response but it was like their brain had stopped working. It was so distracting.
Especially when all their willpower was going into-
The hero felt the villain rub the base of their ear between their thumb and forefinger, and it immediately sent shivers down their spine. The hero couldn't fight the low rumbling noise that began resonating from their chest.
Their purring only seemed to amuse the villain more.
"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?"
The beat red hero glared, before using every ounce of willpower to twist their head away from the villain's hand, "f-fine, just give me the damn necklace," they muttered under their breath.
"That's a good kitty," the villain cooed, holding the necklace out to the hero once more, who snatched before turning and all but marching away.
"Hurry back!" The villain called after them, "Wouldn't want the popcorn to get cold!"
SECOND PART
MASTER TAGLIST:
Pspspspsps
Hero with cat powers and a villain who loves cats.
“You have a tail,” he squeaked, eyes so wide that they might have popped out of his head. Bengal stepped backward, glaring.
He was still wearing boxers, but they didn’t exactly have enough room for him to tuck the tail away like his hero suit did.
“Yeah, cat powers. I have cat things. I think we’ve been through this- Don’t come closer!” Bengal pulled out the claws again, stopping Volt as he stepped forward.
A few of the pages put together for easy viewing. Fox, Butterfly, Black Cat, and Ladybug.
