Pain, ripping through his chest, burying itself deeper inside. White hot pain shook his whole body.
Gasping Turbo sat up, he took deep breaths inhaling deeply. What happened? He looked around, Jet and Spark looking worryingly down at him.
"What happened?" Was it a dream or was he attacked in his sleep. He didn't like how they looked at him. Where was Buttercup? She was beside him, did she get hurt too?
Jet released his breath, he looked fine now. He never saw any thing like that. It was awful.
Spark knelt down and cautiously wrapped his arms around Turbo. He pulled him closer to him. It seemed like they was going to lose him.
"What happened?" Turbo insisted. Why weren't they saying anything.
"It was the cat." Jet said slowly "It glitched and affected you."
Confused he looked to Spark. "Ith that true?"
He nodded, "I think it's code is damaged. I think we should get rid of it."
Turbo stood up pushing himself out of his grasp. He couldn't believe they would think that. If something was broken then it could get fixed.
"No. We could get thomeone to fix her. Can't Felix do it?"
Spark looked down, he felt bad for even suggesting it. Although it seemed unlikely his hammer could fix code damage.
Jet sighed, "What if it doesn't work?"
"Then we'll do thomething else."
"Maybe we should bring it to Felix first?" Jet suggested "Then find someone who knows coding. If something is wrong, we need to get her fixed."
The cat was on the couch looking the tv. Jet sat beside her, it looked like she was watching it, but that wasn't possible. Cats didn't watch tv. Even video game cats.
Maybe someday left it on. Oh, well...
"Ow!"
Sharp nails dug into his hand as he reached for the remote. He looked back at the cat confused as she let out a low growl.
"What? Were you watching this?"
He must be going crazy, she couldn't understand him.
Promptly the cat nodded, he rubbed his eyes and looked at her again. Cats couldn't nod. She got up and laid across the remote looking back at him with what seemed like a satisfied smile.
He got up as she looked at the television again. He needed coffee. He was seeing things
I recently saw some silly "Cats Make you Crazy" meme that said "Craziness is regretting having cats while simultaneously wanting another cat" and it is so true. Today I've dealt with a mystery floor-pooper and am currently typing one-handed while a cat sleeps across my other arm. If I move, hell will break loose. Several times today I've imagined the free and easy life I'd have without these horrible things. But always in the forefront of my mind, too, is the almost overwhelming desire to have more of them. At least one new kitten. It's a sickness, a legitimate problem.
When the craving gets bad, I just go clean the litterbox. That puts things in perspective.
It's no wonder ancient Egyptians worshipped cats. They were brainwashed. It's all a plot!
