Okay so, opinions on tallstar’s revenge (Super-edition). I think it’s one of the best warrior cats book story-wise, but like. They named a cat dead foot.

I’ve been debating about making it into a comic with my own spin on it, and I want some feedback about what people liked and disliked about the book!

There are videos about it on YouTube if you haven’t seen it, but it is a pretty good read.

i haven't read it personally but it seems like a pretty solid story! deadfoot as a character is just one of many ableist examples in the serious and you just gotta take what you can with it, i guess. they tried to pull an empowering story out of him but with the ableist overtones that they showed off with his "empowering" moment being choosing his name will become reflective of his disability and nothing else is weird. i think otherwise i really enjoyed tallstar's directionless take on how he wanted to handle his father's death, he had to come to terms with the grief and take some time away before he ended up hurting innocent cats. it is a breath of fresh air especially since the cats in this book generally don't think! at all!

i'm not much of a gen warrior cats blog as much i am a hermitcraft blog but i do enjoy talking out warriors' flaws and trying to re-frame the series, thanks for the ask o7
