The man’s day was going quite normally, taking a stroll through his city in a relaxed manner while he worked out what to do with himself. Hit one of the clubs in the city, go workout or go and fight some monsters-- None of those, because someone new and unknown just strolled right through the entrance of the city. He crossed his arms and raised a brow. This was curious, he was curious about all of this.

It had been two years since Nix accidentally acquired her Chain, forming a contract with it in the middle of the night. She thought her life couldn’t get more chaotic beyond that but soon she realized that wasn’t the case. Somehow a man called Xerxes Break found out about her Contract and hadn’t stopped pestering her since. At first she couldn’t stand how he’d randomly appear in her home without permission and vanishing just as swiftly as he came in. He was also a terrible sweet thief, swiping baked goods she worked hard to make the minute she turned away! Though after some time and chances of holding actual conversation, he wasn’t a bad person exactly. Just a man with no sense of privacy with a mouth full of sweet teeth. 

After the long days of being pestered to join Pandora, it was time to reach out to Xerxes. She had considered his offer, weighing the pros and cons in her head, and reached a conclusion. Due to his knowledge on Chains, she was informed that she had accidentally acquired quite a lengthy lifespan because of it. A normal life was now out of her reach since it wouldn’t take too long for those around her to notice her lack of aging. Plus, how selfish it would be to not use this power of hers to help people around her? The only reason why Nix had been so stubborn was because of the approach Xerxes took in approaching her at first. 

So now it was time to use her grand idea in luring him out to talk. A freshly baked cake sat upon the table, a treat she made herself in the small home she occupied. “Xerxes, I know you’re in here somewhere. Come out and you can have as much as you want, so long as you take a seat and not sneak away with the whole tray.” Nix called out, staying seated in a chair at the table as she glanced around for where he might emerge from.
