NAIVE, he has been called by a jeering public that preferred to fall into a frenzied flood seeking selfish profit. some members of that same jeering public argued that his church, the wall cult, did the same -- there was a foundational grain of truth to that accusation; that grain resided solely in the splendor of his church . . . but that splendor was not for profit. rather, it was for SAFETY -- indeed, the public had deemed them naive & ignorance. he silently deemed them idiots . . . but not all could have the knowledge that they did. & so they were attacked by those, like the soldiers of the survey corps who thought them conspirators . . . regulus eyed one of these soldiers indifferently, remaining silent for several trudging seconds before he spoke blandly. their superiors were currently in private discussion; they themselves were instructed to wait. ❛ i know what you think about our church & its truth.
