Catastrophic in the Murderbot Diaries..

I was curious about how much Murderbot uses the word “catastrophic”

The highest density of the use of the word catastrophic/catastrophically etc is in Artificial Condition (28) and the second is Exit Strategy (20)—all the other books have almost exactly the same density (all 6 except 5 for Fugitive Telemetry)

Also, what is catastrophic?

Mostly FAILURE!

Then injury and damage…

NB there is one catastrophic drive failure and one mechanical failure included in the failures, and one system malfunction included in the malfunctions

Almost Exactly half the catastrophic things are catastrophic failures…
