Hello, my love. What are some good ladies on the road books to read?
My number one suggestion is Rachel Friedman's "The Good Girls' Guide to Getting Lost" but I'm currently reading "The Lost Girls" which is a collective work by 3 friends who took a year off to go backpacking. I also recently bought a book entitled "Wanderlust" which is about a woman who went on extended world-travel to 5 continents. These are all non-fiction. In terms of fiction female-traveller works I can only suggest Maureen Johnson's "13 Little Blue Envelopes," "The Last Little Blue Envelope," and "Girl At Sea." There's also a novel called "Carpe Diem" by Autumn Cornwell (it's pretty long but a very good YA novel with a little bit of a twist and is about travel in SE Asia which is pretty different). I am glad you asked me about my favorite niche genre of literature. This cheered me up just talking about it! Love you and hope you enjoy these!!Sending you Internet hugs!!
