a few days ago i have an au idea where i swap the smiling critters and the nightmare critters... generic as hell i know i know.. but i did a little twist with it!

i swap a smiling critter with the nightmare critter i ship them with! :3 i got this idea because the idea of catnap being a stray cat and touille being the one who helps people to go to sleep intrigues me heh

(also i wouldnt drastically change their designs or swap their color palette with each other, tho id probably put some undertones of each other in the design.. atleast thats what im planning to go for :3)

this is my current lineup

(i dunno if ill actually change the rest of the casts names, for all i know Poe could keep their name lmao, but i am planning on changing catnap and dogdays names for this aus sake, if u have a name idea for the chars feel free to share!)

So I got a random headcanon (lil Catatouille)

We know Touille is constantly talking about something and yet the conversation doesn’t go anywhere

What if he was an overthinker?

Like if he stayed silent his head would be filled with to brim of everything he pays attention to and naturally he lets it out because that’d overload his brain

Therefore, while Touille and Catnap are on a date,

Touille is overthinking every single thing that’s happening and stressing over random shit.

And then there’s Catnap who’s just vibing and is just pretty happy to hang with Touille.

Touille: oh fuck, this is awful, i knew this was gonna go bad, why did he agree to this, im gonna embarrass myself so much, fuck this sucks, i wanna go die in a ditch—
