I’ve been thinking about this A LOT over the last few days and I was initially thinking they were getting ready for some imminent announcement but I’ve kinda changed my mind now. My guess is with the expiration of the .net website Van and whoever he’s working with now decided to buy up the .co.uk website so it’s there in place ready for their return… and it’s going to happen… well they’re certainly planning it. The hidden text is like a little easter egg, a message to fans to tell them not to lose hope, that they’ll be back 🖤

I actually think it was slightly before - in 2018 in fact and I’m gonna pinpoint it to an exact date… Chicago Lollapalooza! Every time I see pics or videos from that show I have to be physically restrained ha ha 🥵
You can see a tiny preview on the Reddit post and it looks like it was some kind of landscape photo with mountains and a starry sky? It does kinda look like a similar style to the original fishing photo so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same person on both

It’s kinda funny that in the lyrics to Overlap he says he’s happy to follow her lead that doesn’t really match up with what people he’s worked with have said about him. He doesn’t exactly seem like the type to sit back and let someone else take over. Maybe he’s just different outside of work though. I remember seeing a Reddit post saying he used to stay at their house and was really quiet, which feels totally different from how he comes across in interviews.
I saw that and I was really surprised, couldn’t imagine anyone ever describing Van as ‘quiet’ but think that was pre-fame wasn’t it?
Maybe when he’s loved up he’s happy for his lady to take the lead… remember he said this too…

I don’t think he’d be into anything publicly these days since he’s so private and elusive now 😭 He did seem very openly affectionate with the other band members in the past though so I could imagine physical touch would be one of his love languages 🥰
