I was done tracking , so it was now to catch up with others, but time had passed and no signs of people. Ran three miles straight, in mudd, freezing, half gallon of water, time was ticking. Adrenaline , oxi and dope pumped. My first run in a long time, was about survival and instincts. Broken bones, burning thighs, mudd and whining, teasing, family and motivation. To us, it was worth it. Lots of massages and remedies for sure. Physical reality and perspective ...@jay_croft We ran out of sunlight and jogged 3.5 miles to this insane spot just before it went dark. 4,000 feet, no people, complete silence and solitude as we looked into the deep valleys and ridges. The sun casted a purple/pink color off the Na Pali coast waters, just amazing. I wish we had a bit more sunlight because this photo came out a little grainy, but the authentic experience is what matters, not the capture. The hike back in pitch darkness with iPhone flashlights was definitely worth it.
