I was without a bed for 2 weeks. The new one finally came in over the weekend. I had to almost fully reorganize the furniture in my room because we realized the the vent up against the bed might have been part of the problem, The next time I draw my room is going to look really different. I haven't changed my room around in a significant way like this in almost a decade. It's kinda exciting :3

Neo is literally my past life

The boy himself. He's about 20lbs.

Now I shall rant about my cuddly son. Enjoy.

Neapolitan loves food. It almost doesn't matter how scared he is of meeting a new person. If they are holding a treat and have hands that can pet him, and are strong enough to pick him up and cuddle him: then Neo has met a new best friend.

He is a very purry boy. If he's happy, he purs, if he's nervous he purs. The doctors have never been able to properly hear his heart and lungs because of how loud his pur is.

He gets anxiety attacks in the cat carrier so he can only be on a harness and has anti anxiety meds for travel.

One of the last times he went to the vent, the assistant that was carrying him was almost in tears and didn't want to let him go because of how much he loves hugs and how good his purs are.

A few years ago when he turned 3, he had to get all of his teeth removed because it turned out he was allergic to his own teeth, and his immune system had been attacking his teeth. He doesn't normally chew his food so this hasn't been a problem for him. In fact loosing his teeth has made him able to reach more food with his tongue since his teeth aren't in the way. Gravy treats are his favorite now, and he is messier when he eats them so he can clean it off with his full range tongue.

Here is a pic of him with the cone on trying to cuddle Coco for emotional support.

This is the best vid I could find of his pur. This was taken at the vet. We took Coco and Neo together, and Neo got his work done first. This is him afterwards realizing he didn't actually die and received a ton of cuddles instead. We then gave him more cuddles when he realized Coco wasn't there anymore and he started getting worried again.

(Neo and Coco are virtually inseparable now even though they hated each other at first.)

The daily struggle with Neapolitan. Marzipan does this too. They come to the door and just watch me and sniff the air and don't let me in
