Brandon had already started his book tour and despite how much he complained about Lakewood, he was beginning to get a little homesick. Maybe not so much homesick as much as he missed the very few friends he did have, and of course there was a Kitty. No matter how many selfies or drunk texts he got from Sara and Tristan or how many times he looked at the screensaver on his phone of Kitty, it wasn’t the same as being with the people he actually cared about. He had another two hours of signing to do before the event was over and he had sent Kitty a few messages about coming down to Boston to join him for a night but hadn’t gotten any response since the reception at the venue was pretty terrible. With a heavy sigh, Brandon signed another copy of his book, forcing a smile before he was onto the next. Truthfully, he looked miserable, and after his editor yelled at him for not being nice to people he figured the least he could do was at least pretend he didn’t hate everything around himself. “I loved the book” A woman complimented as she flipped to the page she wished for him to sign. “Yeah, thanks, it’s not as terrible as Twilight so I think it’s pretty decent too” He responded with a smirk.
