Wallace and Piper were out and about, taking in some fresh air and enjoying a bit of calm before the pianist’s next show. He sat on a blanket underneath the shade of a tree, scribbling and scrawling over some sheets of paper, pausing now and again to hum a tune to himself. He seemed wrapped up in his work, though he’d glance up to watch Piper whenever he had the chance.
Meanwhile, the tiny spiderling had started to wander away from his father, bit by bit as he collected brightly colored flowers that poked their way out from between blades of grass. He shoved the flowers into his gloved hands, only stopping his many legs to munch on the tastier looking blooms. Neither he nor Wallace had noticed how far he had wandered until Piper found himself surrounded by trees, the open field nowhere in sight.
Tensing up Piper let out a tiny squeak. Now he didn’t have any clue where he was...! He clenched his flowers and turned this way and that. Since his focus had been on the ground, he didn’t really recognize very much... Especially since his second set of eyes weren’t focused on anything but the sky...!
“W-Wallace...?” he peeped nervously, “Wh-wh-where a-am I?” though he was straining his ears fro any sign of his father, or anything familiar for that matter, Piper wound up jumping a good three feet into the air when he heard some rustling near him.
