I know some people love the idea about Sly's mother as a thief but I enjoy more the idea of this plot twist: What about if Carmie's mother was some kind of secret spy/good-thief/assasin badass? Like a mix between Kim Possible, Carmen Sandiego, Charlie's Angels, Robbin Hood and Rouge the Bat, just... think about that 0w0

Name: Catherine DeWitt (after Catherine Fox)
A.K.A: Scarlett Shadow (as spy/thief/assasin)
Specie: hybrid between mongoose and polar bear
Occupation: spy in the service of a government agency (Special Agent). Actress.
Catherine was born in Mesa City, USA. After the murder of her parents and brothers by a group of gangsters, Catherine become in a cynical a person. She was adopted by another family and they moved to Paris, where Catherine met Marie and they become in best friends. Marie dreamed of a better world and her ideals inspired Catherine to fight to get justice by her own.
At the age of 18, Catherine became in thief, but she only stole to criminals and never kept their fortune to herself, she always gave the money to poor people, orphanages and others charities. Also she decided to avenge her family and managed to find the gangsters who murdered them.
A secret agency of the government noticed her skills and they hired her to find criminals around the world, to work as spy and also sometimes as assasin, in return, she could do whatever she wanted with the stolen fortune.
She was a rival thief of the Old Cooper Gang for a while and got the mission to spy them and kill them. She didn't trusted in Conner Cooper at first and he even used to flirt with her, but later on she found out he wasn't a bad person at all and he really loved Marie, so she decided to forgive his life and his comrades's. She worked along with the Cooper Gang to find Clockwerk. They couldn't defeat him, however they finished with his plans about a certain "nuclear bomb project" he was planing with a group of criminals.
To undercover her true job, Catherine worked as theater actress and helped the Interpol as police advisor. She met Inspector Alejandro Fox in a case, both fell in love with each other, years later they got married and had a daughter: Carmelita Montoya Fox.
When The Fiendish Five murdered Marie and her husband, Catherine tried to find them to avenge her best friend. Unfortunately, those criminals found out her true identity and job. To protect her family, Catherine had to leave them and go far away without give them any explanation. She tried to defeat those criminals to be able to return with her family, however Muggshot killed her and her family never knew what really happened to her.
