Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport has now started CAT-II low visibility operations, allowing aircraft to land even with a minimum visibility of 350 meters. This makes it the third airport under the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to offer this facility.
After inspections by DGCA, along with staff training and operational drills, the airport is fully prepared for the fog season. It can now safely handle flights that are diverted due to low visibility. This feature will make air travel safer and more reliable for both passengers and airlines.
