We almost funeahed mockingjay part 2 today. We got to the point where Catpiss Neverclean killed President Ow my Groin. But the n class ended and we had 23 minuete s left and we arent coming back until January 6ixth

Day 11: Something you hate about the series

I had this feeling throughout the whole first book: Where’s the rebellion? There must be a rebellion! Why is she just accepting her fate? Why doesn’t she do anything!? The rebellion had to literally come to her before she would participate in it (and even then it took her quite some time). To me the night lock was no sign of rebellion (just in case you would want to count that). She’s just accepting that the Capitol’s might is too big for her to stand against it. Maybe it’s because every other book about corrupt governments, poverty, etc. has a strong leading character that triggers the rebellion… but I was expecting this and therefore a little disappointed when it didn’t happen.

my hunger games movie experience

So when I went to watch THG there were a bunch of annoying bops that sat in front of us and some of them had obviously never read the book before, and they were talking loudly and being excited throughout the previews and my friend was already "ugh i hate dem" to me and I was like yeah... 

Anyways when Rue died one of them gave the hugest gasp and almost immediately started crying. 

Me: Holy, how can someone even start sobbing that fast

Friend: AHAHAHA OH GOD DID YOU HEAR THAT GASP?

Me: Wait shut up she can hear you

Friend: BUT SHE'S CRYING HAHAHA OMFG THIS IS THE FUNNIEST SHIT GOOD LORD JESUS HAHAHAHA

Me: Well it is supposed to be sad--

Friend: GODDAMN CAN YOU CRY ANY LOUDER HAHAHAHAHA

Me: Stop you're making me laugh omfg Rue just died I can't laugh right now omfg

Yeah.

Also, the only part I found kind of disappointing was the cave scene. I don't know, it could've been done better. 

Peeta: I watched you walk home everyday.. EVERYDAY

And, unpopular opinion- I did not enjoy the pans back to Gale ~_~ They were hilarious, but I did not enjoy them. Hard to explain.

But to sum it up, I liked the movie. They could have elaborated more with Rue and Peeta, but otherwise (*⌒∇⌒*)b ~
