Fall Series: Over the Garden wall
:) spoiler-free review
Since October is almost over, I thought I would talk about my favorite fall show of all time, Over the Garden wall. I've watched it a million times and it never gets old. The theories, easter eggs, and deeper meanings make this show worth every watch, and it's such a short show, so I'm surprised that they were able to capture so much detail. The show follows the story of two brothers, who we know nothing about yet, and their journey to find their home. They start off lost in the woods and we have so many questions like Why is Greg wearing a teapot on his head? How did they get lost anyway? What era of time are they from? All the answers get revealed at the end, but I really like how at the beginning we are just as lost as Greg and Wirt. What really makes this show special is also the beautiful backgrounds and fall vibes. I knew this show was going to really embrace fall, so when I first watched it, I grabbed a cup of apple cider and drew on a pumpkin. I recommend doing the same because it really made the show feel seasonal. The leaves crunching, the pumpkin village, and the scenes toward the end which I wont spoil really make this show feel like fall. If you like shows with mystery and fall vibes, this one is for you! 11/10💕R
