Someone: Who is your favourite character in Cats and why is it Mr Mistoffelees?

Me: Well, he’s not Misto without the iconic conjuring turn, first off! The conjuring turn is the BEST part of his number!

Also, this is super adorable in the 1998 film when he thinks it’s his turn for a song and, well, it turns out it isn’t. Munkustrap’s look is everything.

He SPARKLE:

Jacob Brent’s soft “Presto!” in the 1998 film always makes me feel all melty. He literally lights up the stage with that word alone, I swear!

Before anyone judges me for liking this musical, please consider not as I shall cry. The 1998 recording of Cats is just fun and surprise to no one Rum Tum Tugger and Mr Mistoffelees are some of my favourite characters/songs :)

So I had an impromptu headcanon for Jemima where she's friends with dogs like all kinds of dogs. Pekes, Pollicles, Poms, street dogs u name it.

Like her parents will let her wander around town to feed her curiousity. But being protective dad Munk is, he only gave her a once a week stroll in town where she'd enjoy walking around watching the skies, the flowers, the trees, the humans running or walking busily or just strolling around the neighborhood etc.

During her first time going out of the yard, she was walking happily, enjoying the lights etc then a huge street dog saw her and tried to scare her away for some reason (coz like she's such an easy prey coz she's tiney and the dog's bored lol). So the dog started to pounce at her hoping it would scare her but nope she was only surprised but not frightened. Jemima then gave the dog a smile and said, "Hi! I'm Jemima!"

The dog was confused af but seeing Jemima looking at him with sparkling eyes and adorable smile, he doesn't care anymore. The only thing he now cares about is that he would die to protect this tiny kitten. He's motto suddenly switched MUST PROTECC JEMIMA AT ALL COST.

So they became friends and then everytime Jemima goes for her Once a week stroll she's accompanied by this dog and sometimes she'll met some more dogs and created friendship with them and then they will accompany Jemima too. And soon after they were a group of dogs with her 'guarding' her around.
