Pearl has a bit of a different backstory in this AU! Our Pearl is originally a gift from White Diamond to Moonstone (Lady in the long purple dress). Moonstone is tasked with distributing and “editing” information throughout the gem empire. I’ll try to write a more thorough explanation soon but here are the gems:
Morganite: pinkish hair and explaining some fighting tactics to Pearl
Catseye: Green gem. She is a researcher who doesn’t really care to explain her findings.
Sunstone: Orange gem in bottom right. Similar to pearls in some functions, though more like toolboxes / batteries.
Smoked Opal: Cartographer / “explorer”? She is sent ahead of fleets as a disposal gem.
