voyager 1's an old man LOL

he's still in the process of repairing his systems, but still cruising through interstellar space rather uneventfully :3

has history professor vibes :3 loves to look back on the pale blue dot and the blip of human history before and after the moment

recently he was able to get in contact with his brother, voyager 2! currently helping his twin catch up with the times

here's Poppy! A mechanic who's a horse girl for vehicles, they will spend as much time with them as possible

they're for an Along the Road to Everywhere campaign, 100 years after a fungi zombie apocalypse

they're in symbiosis with one of the strains of zombie fungi! they definitely have some thoughts about it

they're hiding their infection status and making sure not to infect anyone else, but it does get a little lonely lonely on the road :( good thing there's someone insane about mushrooms who's willing to travel with them :3

(it's patience)

they've also got some kind of symbiosis relationship with them as well :3 they trim the mushrooms that grow from poppy and use for soup ingredients and poppy gets to pass as an non-infected and gives patience a ride

they've also picked a couple other people and traveling together :3

anyways have some pictures of them and the group

i'd elaborate on the thoughts i have on them but it's currently just rotating them in my mind

so Quinn! she's part of Thistlecliffe, a story i've been working on that's vaguely horror/slice of life/mystery about a small town with many many dark secrets :3

Quinn was/is one of them, making a deal with the local deity at a youngish age to act as its protector, with the deity giving her the power to create and control floating knives as well as a couple of other goodies :3

however, she didn't know what being a protector entailed

(totally has nothing to do with the disappearances that are happening at the same time :) )

eventually she breaks down from the role and leaves for college, only to drop out and come back, burnt out

now she's running around thistlecliffe again, mostly to try and protect aster from the mysteries they've been digging at
