💫 Mohinder watched in wide-eyed amazement at the show in front of him. This was not scientifically possible! There was no way he was seeing what he was seeing, and wiped his eyes a few times before stepping closer, careful not to disturb his friend as he worked his *literal* magic. Big brown eyes studied his hand movements and any noises that were being made as if he could decipher and possibly make sense of it all. He couldn't.
Bright opaque-purple symbols filled the air between his outstretched arms, with his fingers fixed in a specific position. “Ni care- vamme mére- ana ahime-“ he began to utter, but came to a frozen halt when he noticed mohinder out of the corner of his eye. His look of intense focus faded from his face as his arms fell and his spell disappeared.
He turned to the still wide-eyed mohinder, “I uh … this isn’t what … this is NOT what it looks like…” Chuckling nervously behind a smile, trying to play it cool. He stretched his arms out against the table he was working at, as to try and hide the pile of reese’s behind him. He wasn’t sure where to start. He already had experienced the way humans react to magic, it normally wasn’t so nice. He didn’t know if he should start from the beginning about his magical powers, or try to immediately explain why he thought it was a good idea to duplicate a large pile of reese’s.
A reese’s or two falls from the table as he panics trying clumsily to hide them. “Y-y-you must have … SO many questions … I … I’m …”.
Speechless…
…he was speechless.
