She's a wonderful woman. If she doesn't know how you feel about her... you might want to let her know. She's been missin' you like crazy ever since you went off. She's even roped me into stayin' with her for a little while while you were away. She said that she liked the company and I didn't mind spending time with her but... I know she truly missed you, too. She told me different but I know there was probably some minuscule part of her that wanted to associate my face with your name.

"I did. Actually I lost count of how many times I tried to tell her how important she is to me, but everything I say or do just keeps hitting her ears the wrong way. It's like she has some kind of device inside her head that translates everything wrong or just skips all the things I say so she can only hear what that little device wants her to. And that evil thing keeps telling her I don't want her and a lot of other nonsense."

He sighs.

"Look. Things between Hettie and I are complicated but we're gonna work things out eventually. And I doubt she wants your company just because we look alike. You are a nice guy after all."
