Me: I can not stand Caustic Caverns. I don’t like fighting Crystalisks and the Varkids.

My Brother: I don’t like The Fridge mainly because of the Rats.

Day 10 of 30 Days of Borderlands: Favorite Area (3 Days Until Borderlands 3!)

Me: I love how Sanctuary looks and I prefer it too New Haven, Fyrestone and Concordia as the base area.

My Brother: I chose Caustic Caverns because of how it looks and how easy it is to move through.

I think I finally figured out why I detest the Caustic Caverns so much. It’s not the scenery, because come on, that area can be morbidly pretty if you really look. I think it’s the fact that it’s so lonely.

There’s no sign of life anywhere. Human life, that is. The vault hunter is the only one in the CC for a length of time, and it’s just dead. It’s quiet, there’s no one to keep you company, and it’s just empty.

I feel I’d like it better if there were actually some refugees that managed to survive, but then again, I can see why no one would want to live down there. It’s an empty, lifeless, cesspool of an area.
