hey not to be depressing on main (who am i kidding i can’t remember the last time i wasn’t depressing on main) but do you think stevie thought about all the absolutely insane things that have happened to her in her life after kim died and got curious enough to not eat for a day at work- just to see if she could understand why kim would do that to herself- and when she felt that smoky, heady feeling she kind of got it but not enough to die over. do you think it was when Flynn found out and commanded her to eat and she refused even though hunger was gnawing at her middle that it dawned on her with such staggering force that she immediately went to eat a full meal in the canteen even though she was on shift and swore to herself she would never ever do that again. do you think she understood kim after? cause i do

yano what i really can’t wait for? and i know im gonna potentially be waiting forever but if anyone in that writing room lurks this tag pls do this for me. i cannot wait for the most awful fucking call that stevie simply cannot bear the weight of and she comes back and she’s just stood there- that stupid red jacket in one hand and a white t-shirt streaked in blood and dirt tucked into her trousers, and dylan comes over to ask her if she’s injured and she just drops the high vis and starts to cry and dylan pulls her into a hug and she’s like shoulders shaking sobbing because faith nearly died so many times and pearl is hooked up to 17 different kinds of tubes and kim is dead and her sister is dead and it’s all her fault and she’s just watched yet another innocent person die because she wasn’t up to par and it’s all so awful that she simply can’t stand to hold it anymore and everyone looks on their eyes widening and heart rates picking up because if stevie’s crying something must be very scarily wrong

Casualty I am begging- I repeat I am BEGGING you not to break up Ian and Faith for Ian to then almost immediately get with Stevie. I am BEGGING you to give my girl even the SMALLEST amount of character growth and stop her doing this. She slept with her sisters fiancée, she had an affair with her bosses’ husband, we do not need to see her burn down her best and most long standing relationship over IAN DEAN unless it is her actual moment of reckoning with this as a self destructive behaviour that she repeats.

Do you know what I would be here for 100%? Ian tries it on with Stevie, she rejects him and immediately goes to tell Faith who flips out at her and in the midst of the argument Stevie shouts that she’s more likely to want to get with *Faith* than Ian and that, ladies and gentleman, is the beginning of a ‘Stevie grappling with her sexuality as a grown woman’ storyline.

not sure if i’m deeping this way too hard but why are the newbies calling themselves ‘residents’? Surely if they’ve completed their 2 foundation years they would be registrar not a resident? isn’t resident an American term? But then again they’re being treated functionally more like F1s than reg’s with the list of firsts and Dylan’s little speech about how dangerous they’ll be. But then they mention being 25 (if they went to uni at 18 they would be 23 at graduation and 25 when finishing foundation), having been a doctor for 7 years (if you count the training) and knowing each other from other rotations which implies they ARE reg level? That being said reg’s are normally treated as pretty much already competent but not very experienced whereas they’re being treated like they’re NOT competent and need someone watching them most if not all of the time and the fella acted like he’d never lost a patient before all of which point AGAIN to F1 and not reg and CERTAINLY not resident either way

hey so erm as a person who’s had an ED, Kim was probably reminded how much she missed exercising when Matty ran in on the first day and she may have from then started to exercise and from there fallen into other behaviours she couldn’t stop sorry for pointing it out
