"Why you wearing that?" (Koda's talking about the french maid outfit)

“Magic wand wielding gray masked...” Ruby grumbles, “I was just going about my day and then bam.. this..”

“Any requests? and what brought this on?” Ruby asks with a raised eyebrow. She was trying to tune her guitar at the moment, but after she had finished that, then she could sing.

Christmas Morning (Future Verse drabble)

“Wake up wake up wake up, santa’s been” were the first words Ruby heard on christmas morning. she glanced at the clock. It was too early for this, though  obviously not for Kaylee and Emma. Her daughters were standing in their new pjs that had been given to them the night before, Kaylee’s were blue with stars on, Emma’s were pink with paw prints, and had matching grins on their faces “I told you last year, you can open your presents from santa first..Mum and dad don’t get disturbed until at least 8 o’clock”

The two girls raced off giggling, “There is always something that makes a noise... what else is 5am for” Ruby grumbled as she got up, pulling on a dressing gown before she headed for the kitchen to get hot drinks going for the girls.

With Faith being the last one to come down the stairs, wearing pale blue pjs with white snowflakes on, dragging a ragdoll down the stairs with her. Ruby finally sat the girls down with a mug of hot chocolate each, and read the letter that Santa had left them.

“Dear, Kaylee, Emma, and Faith,

It was wonderful to get your letters, and I hope you enjoy the toys I brought you. Ilby informs me that you three have been very good this year. It’s been a busy year for the north pole, we were almost raided by the goblins that live in the tunnels near the workshop. The North polar bear and his nephews and nieces quickly put a stop to that, before raiding the pantry and sleeping for a week when we most needed help with the packing.

Despite this the snow man reports that this year’s snow drops are growing beautifully and thanks Emma for asking about them and that his helpers the arctic foxes are also doing well.

Thank you for the Mince pie for the North Polar Bear, and the apple and carrot for the reindeer, how did you know that Blitzen liked green apples?

I hope you all have a lovely christmas.

It was as she was reading this letter that Koda came down. “Morning” Ruby murmurs with a smile after the girls to go play with the new toys. “Happy christmas” she adds, getting to her feet and kissed his cheek.

Koda stands at the foot of Ruby's bed, wearing a santa suit. As soon as she wakes up, he starts singing "All I want for Hogswatch is you!"

Ruby smiles as she sees this, he must have known about her being annoyed at being unable to go home this year. “Happy hogswatch to you too” She replies with a sleepy smile. she wanted to be annoyed at him, but this was so sweet she found it hard to be.

“Are you wearing my shirt?”

“Yeah... um Sorry”

Where do you see yourself in two years with Koda?

“I don’t know for sure where I’ll be with Koda in a couple years, but here’s what I hope a least. Us still together, hopefully engaged.. but I don’t want to push and hope for more than that.”

"Lips Like Sugar"

Ruby had just gotten back from her holiday in New Zealand, she had gone for her brother’s wedding. She was surprised to see Koda waiting for her when she got back.

And had been about to say Hi when she was grabbed and kissed.

“I guess I was missed, huh” she says with a smile, after hugging him tightly,

"You'd look cute in a chinese silk dress."

“What makes you think that” Ruby asks, as she rests her chin on her hand. “Is this a birthday present clue?” she adds, knowing that her birthday was coming up in a few days.
