Exasperation lined the edges of the florist’s words, her voice that single octave higher as her fingertips came to rest at the centre of her chest, waiting for the erratic drum of the heart beneath to somehow finally calm. She hadn’t meant to yell, ( really for argument’s sake, she might say it was more of a shriek ) but the sound that had left her was, at least mercifully short lived, albeit a little more embarrassing than she would’ve liked. So much so, it’s a nervous laugh that leaves her in the end, her cheeks flushed pink and her expression unmistakably sheepish. 

 ❝How are you even that stealthy in that thing?❞ She can’t imagine it’s easy; but then again, having never been the one sporting said mascot suit, maybe it’s a trade secret. Recovering somewhat, at last Aerith let her hand drop, her head tilting curiously to the side as she prodded experimentally at her decidedly plushier companion.
